Unable to access root folder

I am unable to access the root folder from GUI in Ubuntu 22.04 in spite of having obtained root access in the terminal.

I have installed an Ubuntu 22.04 guest OS using Oracle VirtualBox in Windows 10 (host OS) WSL with the vboxuser user account. By any chance can I give the privilege of super user to this vboxuser user to access the root files? My goal is to copy the files from user account to root folder to edit the permission acesss 644.How can I achieve this?
