I am running Ubuntu 20.04 on Windows 10 WSL 2. The first time launching bash displays a system info and then says to create .hushedlogin to disable the message. This behavior seems specific on WSL as a freshly installed Ubuntu 20.04 launched by GRUB didn't show such messages. I couldn't locate a .bash_login in the Ubuntu WSL 2 version that displays system info. I know a blank .hushedlogin disables the once-a-day login message. I just wonder what else could be placed in the file. Also, is there any way to disable the behavior in ~/.bash_login?
