This may sound similar to How do I type [ and \ with a Mac keyboard? , but this is on WSL and also using an older (Swedish) Mac keyboard that has no right Alt key. I have tried running dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration, but none of the alternatives there seems to help.
Under Windows (10) I can type $ and similar symbols using Ctrl + Alt as an AltGr equivalent, so Ctrl + Alt + 4 gives a $, but on Ubuntu under WSL, that prints a long list of commands (BASH, BASHOPS etc.) None of the AltGr alternatives in keyboard-configuration seems to have the desired effect: Left Alt will just give an (arg:)
command, Keypad Enter will just type a normal Enter, the Logo (Command) keys will just open the Windows menu and so on.
